Description

It's fascinating how the definition of a dragon changes depending on where you are. In the West you have those fiersome creatures with short, but muscular bodies and huge wings, who eats men and destroys castles and kingdoms, but that's very different from the dragons in the East.

When I was in China and I was drawing in class, a Chinese girl came up to me praised my drawing of a Chinese dragon, but she asked me why it looked so angry and evil, but at first I was kind of confused because that's myintepretation of a dragon; evil. She then told me about how she, and all other Chinese people see the Chinese Dragon. She told me that they're good and old creatures with lots of wisdom and tend to help men in despair. They are also capable of speaking with humans and they are also a sign of fertility and prosperity.

I drew this yesterday - I suddenly felt inspired :aww:
Sorry about the quality, I took the picture with my phone ^^;
