Lost

He was lost, there was no way out of the dark. Why continue. The lamppost, as some sort of comfort, lighted up the darkness around it. He sat down beside it. Inner demons of his mind kept pushing him, he couldn't make them disappear. It seemed like it became darker around him - like in his mind. Suddenly the bugs, buzzing around the fragile light of the lantern hanging from the lamppost, wasn't so disturbing at all. In fact he felt they had something in common. They were all lost. All seeking towards the light, like himself. The light from the lantern was only an illusion of the real light though, but still.. it was better than sitting in the darkness. It began to rain quitly. He sighed...
